TPA TRAINING:

TPA: Third-Party Administrator- A TPA is a service agent or group that manages a
company’s occupational health services, most commonly its drug and alcohol testing
program.

TPAs are indirect clients for whom we perform collections only. In other words, a donor walks in who does not belong to any of our clients, but we will still collect a sample and send it to the requested partnering lab. This is a collection only, meaning we did not order this test, nor will we receive the results to report. Because of this, we are able to charge a Collection Only fee, which in most cases is between $25 and $30. (They will not be charged the regular service pricing nor the Inter-Office price)

This helps with foot traffic coming through your doors while you are working to grow your client list. This is only a small piece of your revenue system, not the bulk of your revenue.

If you have any questions about account setup, collections, or paperwork, please contact the TPA, as the home office does not provide support for Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) or their software. While we can offer a list of recommended TPAs for potential partnerships, the decision of whether to engage a TPA and which ones to partner with rests with you.

A TPA setup form typically resembles the following: Most TPA forms are similar and usually request your clinic information and the services you offer

Our new list of recommended TPAs is provided to you in Franconnect. Your fellow franchisees created the information in the Franconnect folder! A few franchisees got together and outlined the TPAs they work with, as well as the nature of their relationship, including payment terms and revenue. If you have any feedback or changes on the TPA list, please see the “Info. Sheet” tab and “Submit Your Knowledge” by selecting the link to complete the form.
