How do we handle prenatal testing?

When we receive a request for prenatal DNA testing, we refer clients to RavGen.

Your client will contact RavGen directly, and their team will handle all aspects of scheduling and coordinating the test.

Shown below is the proper format in which your client will email RavGen:

Subject: NIPP Referral
Context: List first and last name and phone number

Once the client has completed the process and payment is finalized, RavGen will send a referral check by mail. Please note that the arrival of this check may take some time, depending on their processing and mailing schedule.

We do not have the exact cost of the test, but it is typically over $1,100.

For accurate and up-to-date pricing, we recommend the client contact RavGen directly.

If the caller expresses concern about the cost, this can be a great opportunity to offer an alternative:

“A legal DNA test after your child is born is only $350. I’d be happy to take down your due date and give you a call the day after your baby is born to schedule the test. Your little one just needs to be at least three days old!”

This approach provides a more affordable option while showing proactive customer care.
